Yebao Launches Special Frame For Electric Cargo Bike (E-Cargo)

Established in 1982, Yebao A-Pro Company, which has celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, is a professional manufacturer specializing in the production of high-end bicycle frames, suspension front forks and rear shock absorbers. There are factories in Dajia, Taiwan, Kunshan and Shenzhen, China, and Dadaang Industrial Zone, Vietnam. In 2021, A-Pro Group's revenue reached NT$6 billion and set a new record.

A-Pro's bold investments in automated production have been the secret to his success. The company established a technology research center more than ten years ago, actively introduced mechanical and electrical engineering and automation professionals, and purchased high-end industrial equipment. A-Pro currently uses expensive high-quality Japanese robotic arms and Austrian welding robots. It now uses more than 140 robotic arms and automates nearly 70 percent of its production. Going forward, A-Pro plans to continue to upgrade to high-precision equipment, which will allow it to fully automate frame welding and painting. In addition to ensuring consistent quality, automation can also help address the shortage of skilled workers.

Targeting the booming e-bike market, e-bike products have ballooned to 70% of A-Pro's product portfolio, with an annual production capacity of 840,000 e-bike frames. In response to the electric cargo bike and e-bike trend, A-Pro has established a dedicated electric cargo line and will start producing electric cargo frames this year.
