Two of the best-selling tire brands, Vittoria and A Dugast, have moved into brand new headquarters; hopefully their official collaboration will move the industry forward.
The new headquarters is located in Oldenzaal in the Twente region of the Netherlands, close to the German border and the heartland of European cycling. The new headquarters must be strategically located here. On June 15, 2022, the new factory was officially unveiled and opened. As Vittoria's new business center focusing on the Nordic market, it will also become a brand new state-of-the-art factory in A Dugast. The construction of the entire building plant reaches 1200 square meters.
Vittoria's customers will also benefit from the location of the new hub, in an important cycling market, enabling further connectivity for customers in the Nordic region. With the purchase of new machines and new staff, A Dugast hopes to more than double production. As part of the collective global goal of achieving complete carbon neutrality, the Vittoria Group has furthered its commitment to new buildings by installing solar panels, upgraded heating and better insulation. Vittoria has recently been working hard to implement these systems across its global operations.
The city of Oldenzaal is already equipped with a well-developed network of road and off-road bikes, with numerous routes that make it easy for employees and guests to reach the new location by bike. These same routes also provide convenient locations for real-world usage conditions such as tire testing.
A Dugast has joined the Vittoria Group as early as 2021 and has completed many successful projects together, the new regional headquarters will facilitate better and easier technical exchanges between Vittoria and A Dugast, and further development by collaborating on renewal projects and making tires that function better.
