In 2021, under the influence of the new crown epidemic, Merida will continue to maintain strong demand and overcome uncertain factors such as supply, production, and shipping. In the first half of the year, the consolidated revenue will still reach NT$15.3 billion, a record high. The sales performance in markets such as Europe, America and China continued to grow significantly, which also pushed up the group’s profitability.

Merida’s accumulated after-tax earnings per share in the first half of the year was NT$6.83, which was a growth of more than 30% compared with NT$5.24 in the same period last year, creating a record high for the group’s profit during the same period.

Merida further pointed out that the timing has entered the third quarter, and major markets such as China, Europe, and the United States have traditionally been peak sales seasons. Starting in July, supply, production, and export shipping have gradually improved. The scale of China's domestic sales and exports from the Taiwanese factory is the same as the previous period and the same period last year. Comparisons have increased significantly.
