BMS is also an important part of electric bike battery.
Lithium cells themselves can not control their discharge or charge current,so it means your battery discharge/charge a bigger current exceed the cells' power,it will cause the cells become damaged.And that is why we will need a BMS board to protect the lithium battery.
BMS has MOSFET,PTC and TCO to protect battery.The protection function is for: over-discharge,over-charge,short circuit,high temperature monitor.
BMS has hardware version and software version.Hardware version means normal BMS, and Software version means it has the ability to connect computer or cellphone to display inside data.
