In the United States, Woom is launching the first children's electric bicycle called Woom UP, equipped with Fazua drive system, SRAM NX drive system, air suspension forks, hydraulic disc brakes and Woom's aluminum frame. The company stated that this is the only children's electric bicycle equipped with a Fazua motor, making it one of the lightest mid-drive electric bicycles built for children.
Recommended for kids who already have cycling experience, Woom UP enables young riders to go farther, ride bikes more frequently, and expand their riding opportunities, from technical monorail trails to casual family adventures, whether it is road or Off-road. The 250-watt drive system can achieve pedal assist in three customizable settings, up to 12 mph. Riders can download the Fazua Rider app, which can flexibly fine-tune the power mode, monitor motor data (power output, remaining mileage, etc.), and record all statistics during the ride, including distance, speed, and altitude. The compact and lightweight combined motor and battery unit can also be easily removed, so that you can choose to ride without pedal assistance.
Mathias Ihlenfeld, CEO of Woom Bikes USA, said: “We found that children who want to experience the benefits of pedal assisted bicycles often ride small adult electric mountain bikes. These bikes are heavy and do not take into account the needs of the children. Now there is a child. The dedicated option reduces the weight by about 30% and provides a better riding experience."
Like all Woom bicycles, woom UP has a diameter handle suitable for children, a brake lever suitable for small hands, and a crank that is shorter than an adult bicycle.
Ellenfield said: "After years of design, we have created what we think is absolutely the best children's electric bicycle in the world, which further inspires people's love and excitement for the fun and sports of cycling, and encourages humanity when young. Riding. Let the children fall in love with cycling and want to ride farther and longer."
