U.S. E-bike Sales Increased By 145% In 2020

Mauel Marsilio, general manager of the European Bicycle Industry Federation (CONEBI), said in a speech late last year: "This growth is only possible if the entire EU and other regions have the right regulatory environment and a clear industrial strategy."

With the huge increase in the number of bicycles on the road every year, global industry experts have emphasized the importance of improving the bicycle infrastructure to ensure the safety of cyclists, and claimed that the current bicycle infrastructure has many problems. So far, the European Bicycle Industry Federation (CONEBI) has called for more support for cycling throughout Europe.

In the UK, the Transport Research Department also pointed out that if social evacuation work is to be carried out in the UK and environmentally friendly transportation is promoted, safe bicycle and walking infrastructure is required.
