Statistics On China's Bicycle Parts Exports In 2020

According to China Customs statistics, in 2020, China’s bicycle parts exports were US$3.70 billion, an increase of 18.9% year-on-year, maintaining positive growth for four consecutive years. Imports during the same period amounted to US$460 million, an increase of 17.4% year-on-year.

In 2020, China’s largest export market for bicycle parts is Taiwan, followed by Germany, Indonesia, the Netherlands and Brazil. The top ten countries and regions for export are all showing a year-on-year upward trend.

Taiwan of my country is also the country's largest import source of bicycle parts, accounting for 44.6% of the total import value, followed by Indonesia and Japan. The main imported commodities are some key components of sports bicycles such as transmissions, brakes and flywheels.

The new crown epidemic has expanded the global demand for bicycle products. While driving consumption growth, the import and export volume of bicycle parts has both increased, and the export volume has reached a record high.
