FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany – Goodyear debuted at this year’s Eurobike which marked the second outing, after Sea Otter, of the US tyre brand in the bike business. Goodyear is in the process of staging a targeted launch in North America and in a variety of European countries.
With regard to Europe, Goodyear’s targeted launch is for Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the UK and Ireland. According to the company’s European manager Mike Johnston building a distribution network in the named countries is now the priority for which fruitful discussions have been taking place at Eurobike. Commercial partners for Goodyear must for all be focused on price stability.
The Goodyear range for MY 2019 contains overall some 100 SKU’s. Goodyear tyres are targeted to all bike categories, including Gravel in road; all MTB categories as well as a well targeted range for e-bikes
