The 2021 Eurobike exhibition in Germany will still be held on time on September 1st under the influence of the global new crown epidemic, with a total of 630 exhibitors from 42 countries around the world. Without the Chinese exhibitors, Taiwanese exhibitors and other places to visit the Eurobike exhibition, plus everyone wearing masks, the exhibition hall is obviously much quieter. Many industry players who were absent lamented that they had been exhibiting at Frogieshofen for decades, and for the last time this year, they will move to Frankfurt next year to exhibit, but they did not go there in person and say goodbye. They felt regretful.
According to the on-site interview by Lun Yan’s reporter in Germany, due to the epidemic situation, there were fewer exhibitors this year. In order to prevent the epidemic, in addition to placing alcohol disinfectant everywhere on the site, the conference also stipulates that you must wear a mask in the room. You must show that you have already seen it when entering the exhibition hall. Two doses of vaccine and a 14-day certificate, or a nucleic acid negative certificate within 24 hours must be provided. In addition, the conference also widened the distance between the booths and made the exhibition hall much more spacious. Although the conference stipulated that masks should be worn, many people could still be seen on the scene who did not wear masks or pulled down masks to talk.
The number of buyers visiting the venue on the first day of the launch was significantly reduced, but the industry expressed affirmation because they were all real buyers, and they had plenty of time for exchanges and discussions. Many local industry players said that benefiting from the epidemic, the demand and sales of bicycles in Europe have grown significantly. So far, they are still facing a situation of short supply. Faced with supply shortages in Asia and prolonged delivery, many buyers at the exhibition said that they are all Look for alternative suppliers or supply chains. Regarding the absence of most Chinese exhibitors, many visiting buyers expressed their regrets. Some buyers also reported that they faced the problem of unstable quality of some Chinese suppliers and wanted to find better and stable suppliers to cooperate.
On the second day of the exhibition, the number of visitors and buyers at the venue increased significantly. Since most of the booths have reduced the number of exhibitors this year, many exhibitors said that buyers have been inquiring all day long and the booths are obviously insufficient. Electric bicycles and related parts are still the focus of this year's exhibition, and the e-Cargo zone is specially set up at the conference. The winning products of the Eurobike Award are also very interesting, foretelling the development trend of bicycles. In addition, the conference also held an industry summit on the afternoon of the first day, inviting government officials, European parliamentarians and European Cycling Association President Erhard Buchel, Accell Group CEO Ton, Giant Group Chairman Bonnie Du, and Paul Lange Chairman of the industry. Class-level industry leaders started a dialogue.
